PM asks finance sector to adopt more innovative, drastic solutions
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Friday congratulated the finance sector for accomplishing tasks of State budget revenues and expenditures in 2020 in the context of domestic and global uncertainty, contributing to the Government's success in fighting epidemics and maintaining recovery.

The Prime Minister addressed Friday conference in Hanoi to review finance performance last year, saying “The financial sector has performed well the tasks amid difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, actively advising and promulgating multiple mechanisms and policies to respond to the epidemic, recover from natural disasters, stabilize production and business, promote disbursement of public investment capital, support the economy, flexibly adopt many solutions such as exemption, reduction, deferment of taxes, fees and charges, providing timely support for businesses.”
Stressing the tasks for 2021, Prime Minister Phuc asked the finance sector to continue with innovation and drastic solutions, mobilizing resources for national development as the Covid-19 pandemic is still ravaging the world.
