The PM made the statement at a working session with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union’s Central Committee in Hanoi on Wednesday. He asked the Youth Union to focus its activities on start-up, innovation, and application of Industry 4.0 achievements. Prime Minister Phuc called on the Youth Union to promote its role in Vietnam’s political system. He said: “The first task is to build a youth role model in the new period, who is capable to meet the needs of national construction and defense in the context of Vietnam’s international integration. Efforts should be made to build the digital Vietnamese knowledge system and inspire youth passion for science and technology, so that the Youth Union and youth organizations will be stronger.”

At the working session, the Prime Minister agreed with the Youth Union’s projects from 2020 to 2030, including those on educating revolutionary ethics and a healthy lifestyle in cyber space, combating drug and building a start-up center for young people.
