Speaking at a national conference in Hanoi on Tuesday, PM Phuc asked the Ministry to figure out ways to continue to improve on last year’s performance, adding: “The Ministry of Justice should concentrate on building and fine-tune our legal and institutional systems.”

“This is considered one of three strategic breakthroughs and the Ministry should be a ‘conductor’ in ensuring the consistency, logicality, and feasibility of the legal system and a ‘goalkeeper’ for the Government in dealing with international legal issues to protect national rights and interests. The Ministry should promulgate a plan of action to implement the government’s Resolution 1 and 2 in a more methodical way,” said Mr. Phuc.

Prime Minister Phuc instructed the Ministry to advise the Government how to create a legal environment conducive to start-ups and innovation.
