Mr. Chinh suggested cooperation priority orientation and called on the TBI promote the linkages of foreign partners and investors in Vietnam, including investment funds and corporations from Europe and the Middle East. He said the Institute assists Vietnam in attracting resources for green growth, emission reduction and climate change response.

The Prime Minister asked for TBI’s coordination in implementing the Political Declaration on Establishing a Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) in a substantive and effective manner as well as share experiences and recommendations on building a carbon market in Vietnam.

TBI helps Vietnam boost digital transformation, implement the National Digital Transformation Program, build innovation centers, manufacture semiconductor chips, develop green energy, hydrogen, improve health capacity to respond to future epidemic challenges, and develop the pharmaceutical industry, PM Chinh said.

The TBI Executive Chairman reiterated support for Vietnam and pledged to continue working with Vietnam's relevant agencies to implement specific cooperation activities, programs and projects.
