(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended a conference in Hanoi on investment cooperation and development and answered the media’s questions on related issues. He said Hanoi should be a leader and national hub for start-ups and innovation and municipal authorities need to adopt a “start-up spirit” in supporting new businesses.

He encouraged Hanoi to ensure a transparent and favorable business environment to encourage the private sector and mobilize social resources for economic growth. Prime Minister Phuc said the 4th industrial revolution has affected all countries, including Vietnam and that Hanoi should take the lead in building a new economic model and inspire young intellectuals to contribute.
Mr. Phuc said Vietnam has free trade relations with 55 countries, including the G20 countries, and will join new-generation free trade agreements. He called on Hanoi’s businesses to grasp opportunities to improve themselves by collaborating with each other and with foreign businesses. The Prime Minister urged Hanoi to promote regional cooperation to maximize all potentials and advantages.
