PM urges for more anti-corruption efforts
(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Wednesday chaired the 18th meeting of the National Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of Corruption. The meeting reported that so far this year, the fight against corruption has progressed positively. PM Dung called on relevant agencies to improve the process of checking, auditing, inspecting, investigating, prosecuting and trials. He added: "On behalf of the Government, I praise the General Department of Police and Ministry of Public Security for seriously implementing the Government's instructions and preventing law violations in banking system. I call on the Minister of Public Security to strictly deal with offenders to ensure safety and security for our banking system."
