(VOVworld) - According to the Express.co.uk, British police on Wednesday carried out a controlled explosion on a "suspicious" car outside the Israeli Embassy in central London.

Moments before the explosion, the area around High Street Kensington station was evacuated. The Israeli Embassy is located some meters away from Kensington Palace, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's London residence. It is not known whether the Royal couple were there at the time.
