(VOVworld) – Quang Ninh authorities have announced the progress of final preparations for this year’s Ha Long - Quang Ninh Tourism Week. At a press conference in Ha Long City yesterday, provincial leaders said that on this occasion, a ceremony will also be held to officially receive the title Ha Long Bay one of the world’s seven new wonders of nature. Ha Quang Long, the Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, says 'Preparations for the performances have been put in place. This year’s Carnival honors the native culture including cultural folk performances typical of Dao, San Chi, Cao Lan, San Diu, and Tay ethnic people. This is a new feature of the festival'.

Visitors to Ha Long Bay will get free tickets to the performances for 4 days from this Saturday through Tuesday.
