Speaking at the meeting, President Phuc said building a contingent of cadres and people with prestige in ethnic minority areas is one of the important political tasks. Therefore, he urged Bac Can province to promote young, enthusiastic, and innovative people in production, business, and start-up and those who are capable of leading the community.

The President also expressed his hope that the village heads and prestigious people of Bac Can province will uphold their pivotal role in all aspects of social life, engaging all people in the community and mobilizing people of all ethnic groups to actively build new rural areas. The village heads, the prestigious persons must have the responsibility to help people rise up in life, reduce poverty and get rich, President Phuc said.
