President meets delegates to Asia-Pacific Regional Conference of Solidarity with Cuba

(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang met with delegates at the 7^th Asia-Pacific Regional Conference of Solidarity with Cuba in Hanoi on Wednesday.

He praised the conference’s success and its significance in demonstrating support for Cubans’ struggle for justice, independence, sovereignty, and self-reliance. He urged for strengthened cooperation between organizations of friendship and solidarity with Cuba in Asia-Pacific. President Sang said the conference would contribute significantly to the global struggle for peace, freedom, and justice and promote understanding of life in Cuba.
