President Nguyen Xuan Phuc hails agricultural economic models in Dong Thap
(VOVWORLD) - President Nguyen Xuan Phuc has commended a combination of tourism and agricultural development in the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap.

During his visit to Dong Thap to inspect local economic models on Tuesday, the President spoke highly of its effective tourism development in Sa Dec flower village and other local economic cooperative models.
"From this economic model, we learn a lesson that it’s not always necessary to set up cooperatives. We should also promote economic models that have proved effective like the model in the flower village. We need to increase investment in science and technology and expand our capital and raise the income of flower growers," said President Phuc.
The same day, the President visited the Nguyen Sinh Sac Relic Site. Nguyen Sinh Sac was President Ho Chi Minh’s father.
