President receives Governor of Japan’s Fukuoka prefecture

(VOVWORLD) -President Vo Van Thuong called for strengthening people-to-people exchanges between Fukuoka prefecture and some Vietnamese localities through vacations of Japanese students to Vietnam and vice versa.

Meeting with Governor of Fukuoka prefecture Seitaro Hattori in Hanoi on Monday, President Thuong also asked for favorable conditions for Vietnamese businesses to cooperate with Japanese businesses in areas where Vietnam has potential.

The President said he hopes that Fukuoka will create favorable conditions for Vietnamese workers to work there and contribute to the Japanese economy.

Governor Seitaro Hattori said he will boost the training program and expects to welcome more Vietnamese students to come for exchange and study through organizing activities between Vietnamese and Japanese education agencies.

The Governor also said that Fukuoka will create favorable conditions for businesses to explore more investment opportunities in Vietnam.
