Receiving the Algerian Ambassador, who came to say goodbye at the end of his working term in Hanoi on Wednesday, the President said he hopes that in any position, the Ambassador will make efforts to promote cooperation relations between Vietnam and Algeria, especially in 2022, the two countries will celebrate the 60th anniversary of their diplomatic ties.

Ambassador Berrah praised Vietnam’s miraculous development in all aspects and said Vietnam’s development image is a model for Algeria to learn. Considering that economic cooperation between the two countries is not commensurate with its potential, the Ambassador expected the two countries will promote the implementation of economic cooperative agreements. He suggested that Vietnam send experts in energy and agricultural products to Algeria, a large country in Africa and rich in natural resources, to work together in mining.
