In his address, President Quang urged the two legislative bodies to properly organize activities to mark the 55^th anniversary of Vietnam and Laos diplomatic ties. Quang asked the two countries to effectively implement signed agreements including those reached at the 38^th meeting of the Vietnam-Laos Inter-Government Cooperation Committee in December last year. He said he hoped the two National Assemblies would work together to facilitate bilateral investment cooperation agreements. He asked the Laos National Assembly to make the necessary legal changes to boost bilateral trade and investment cooperation.
