(VOVworld) - President Truong Tan sang has met revolutionary veterans during his visit to Vinh Phuc province. He praised the Party leadership, mass mobilization and the revolutionary steadfastness in the fight for national liberation and independence. He urged the veterans to do more to promote the provincial development:“I am pleased to see the veterans’ promotion of revolutionary tradition and self disciplinary to hold major positions in the provincial leadership as well as in business and manufacturing. This will contribute more to national construction and defense."

In his meeting with provincial leaders, Sang welcomed the provincial efforts in achieving an agricultural growth rate of nearly 7%. He called for more determination to successfully implement the Party resolution and turning Vietnam into an industrial and modern country by 2020.
