(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended a groundbreaking ceremony for Kim Quy theme park project in Dong Anh district, Hanoi, on Friday.

Mr. Phuc was accompanied by Politburo member and Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai and other high-ranking leaders.

Prime Minister Phuc said once completed, the park, which is invested by the Sun group, will meet the people’s demands for culture and entertainment. He urged the investor to ensure the 18-month project progress as planned, helping to boost Hanoi’s tourism. He also called on Hanoi to devise proper policies to compensate those who have given their land for the project.

The 200 million USD Kim Quy theme park is part of Hanoi’s master plan until 2030 and vision until 2050.
