(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his entourage arrived in Haneda airport on Sunday for an official visit to Japan and attending the 23rd Asia Future Conference.

The same day, He received the Governor of Ibaraki prefecture and met with the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and overseas Vietnamese in Japan.
Prime Minister Phuc is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, meet with the Emperor and Empress, and have meetings with parliamentary leaders, the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Group, major political parties, and businesspeople.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc is expected to deliver a keynote speech at the 23rd International Conference on the Future of Asia, attend an investment promotion conference and witness the signing of a number of cooperative agreements between Vietnam and Japan.
