Prime Minister receives outgoing Lao Ambassador
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Wednesday met with outgoing Lao Ambassador Thongsavanh Phomvihane, lauding his contributions to developing the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

The Prime Minister called for more mutual cooperation in regional and international forums, especially in the ASEAN for peace and stability for development while maintaining a common voice in important issues in the region, including the East Sea. The Prime Minister asked for Laos' support when Vietnam serves the 2020 ASEAN Chairmanship next year and the non-permanent membership at the UN Security Council in 2020-2021 term.
