Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Saturday visited Infantry Battalion 207 of Kien Giang province military command, where he was recruited to fight the war. PM Dung said that Vietnamese people shed their blood for the country’s independence and freedom and he urged the officers and soldiers of Infantry Battalion 207 to uphold their heroic tradition and deserve the Party and nation’s trust. He added during the process of national construction and defence, the battalion should strive to fulfill their tasks assigned by the Party and people. The same day, PM Dung visited an industrial shrimp farm in Giang Thanh district and Tam Bao pagoda in Ha Tien town.
