The program was co-hosted by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Women’s Union. Duong Van An is secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union: “The program honors the beauty and virtuous character of Vietnamese women, which were inherited and developed in history and in the period of industrialization and modernization. We want to dignify Vietnamese women’s virtue in order to encourage female youth to uphold virtuous character at present.”
