Public hails historic decisions from latest Party Central Committee meeting
(VOVWORLD) - A broad cross-section of officials, Party members, and citizens have welcomed the outcomes of the 11th plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee, calling it a historic meeting with transformative decisions for Vietnam’s next phase of development.

Dr. Dang My Hanh from the Academy of Journalism and Communication praised the bold move to restructure the political apparatus by eliminating the district level and retaining only provincial and communal tiers. She highlighted the importance of reducing the number of provincial-level units to 34.
Party member Nguyen Manh Thang from Hanoi applauded the plan to reduce 60–70% of commune-level units, describing it as a democratic, correct decision.
Many citizens noted that improved infrastructure and the expansion of digital governance will lead to more efficient administrative procedures and better public services.
According to both Party members and the general public, this meeting marked a concrete step toward implementing Resolution 18, aimed at renewing Vietnam’s political system and national administration to meet future demands.
