(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s Young Entrepreneurs’ Association on Saturday held an investment promotion conference in Quang Ngai province. Secretary of the Youth Union Phan Van Mai, leaders of Quang Ngai province and more than 100 young business people and investors attended the event. Participants were introduced to the provincial potentials, such as the Dung Quat Economic Zone, home to Vietnam’s first oil refinery and some other large-scale projects. Dung Quat is the most effective economic zone among Vietnam’s coastal economic zones. To date Quang Ngai has attracted more than 200 investment projects, including 22 foreign-invested projects. In Dung Quat Economic Zone, there are 120 projects with a total investment capital of 80 million USD. Tran Ba Nam, Director of Quang Ngai Investment Promotion Center, said: “The conference aims to promote the image and advantages of Quang Ngai province, calling for investment from Vietnamese young entrepreneurs. We hope that businesses all over Vietnam will see our potentials.”
