(VOVworld) – Quang Ninh province‘s Lifelong Learning Week 2015 began on Friday.

At the launch in Ha Long Bay, Vu Ngoc Giao, head of the provincial communications department, said various activities including seminars, art and sport performances, and reading festival will be held.

Giao called on “provincial and local authorities, relevant agencies, social organizations, and schools to work closely with the education and training sector and the Study Encouragement Society to increase understanding and education about the purpose, meaning, and role of lifelong learning with the intention of turning it into a cultural feature of each family, citizen, and student. We should also organize more seminars, conferences, and reading festivals at educational facilities and libraries.
