Red Sunday campaign warmly welcomed in Quang Ninh province
(VOVWORLD) - More than 1,000 blood units were collected during a “Red Sunday” event in Ha Long City, in the northern border of Quang Ninh on Sunday.

The blood donation campaign drew hundreds of youth union members and young people. Ms. Pham Thuy Giang from Ha Long City, who has donated blood 3 times, told VOV: “The Red Sunday drive was strongly responded by young people in Ha Long City. This activity is meaningful as it helps save lives.”
More than 1.3 million blood units were collected across Vietnam in 2019, meeting 70% of blood demand for medical treatment in the country.
