Renewing law enforcement agencies in line with judicial reform
(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s National Assembly Committee on Judiciary Affairs today concluded a conference on renewal of criminal investigation bodies, people’s procuracies, and people’s courts in accordance with judicial reform.

The 2-day conference took place in Da Nang city as part of a project called “Strengthening the Provision and Exchange of Legislative Information among Agencies of the National Assembly of Vietnam” sponsored by the United Nations Development Program. National Assembly deputies and experts shared opinions about the theory and performance of the agencies’ organizational structure. They suggested measures to help the Committee effectively verify the law and help the National Assembly issue laws appropriate to real life which meet the demands of judicial reform and contribute to the building of a law-governed socialist state of the people, by the people, and for the people.
