(VOVworld)- A Moscow court has charged two men in connection with the murder of Russian opposition activist Boris Nemtsov. Judge Nataliya Mushnikova said one of the men, Zaur Dadayev, admitted involvement in the shooting on a bridge near the Kremlin on 27 February. Dadyev was a deputy commander in the Chechnya Republic’s police force. A detention order has been extended for Dadayev until April 28. Meanwhile, Anzor Gubashev, who used to work at a private security firm in Moscow, denied any involvement. The two suspects, both of Chechen origin, were arrested in the Republic of Ingushetia on Saturday. Three other suspects, who maintained their innocence, were taken into custody. They are Shagid Gubashev, younger brother of Anzor Gubashev, Ramsat Bakhayev and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov. Investigators believe the murder was carried out by a group of people and there is evidence of these suspects’ involvement in the murder.
