Russia rejects using force against Syria

Russia has vowed to block any UN Security Council resolution, which allows the use of force against Syria . Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said that Moscow will veto any resolution directly or indirectly using force.  Gatilov pointed out that the draft fails to acknowledge the violence of the Syrian opposition, so it is unlikely to resolve the situation in Syria. Russia’s Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, called Western approach to Syrian problems as immoral. France 's ambassador to the United Nations also ruled out using military force in Syria , saying everything must be done politically to avoid setting the Middle East "ablaze."
