(VOVworld) – On Thursday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov expressed his belief that the success of the projects within the framework of the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will stimulate the signing of FTA between the EAEU and other Asia-Pacific countries. Mr. Morgulov said Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore and Indonesia are considering establishing free trade areas with the EAEU. He added the EAEU and ASEAN have great prospects for establishing free trade areas. The EAEU including Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan signed an FTA with Vietnam last May. This is the first FTA between EAEU with a third partner.
