(VOVworld) – Russia has accused NATO of increasing its military presence in Eastern Europe and vowed to retaliate.

The Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Wednesday that NATO's military buildup in Russia’s neighboring countries has undermined Europe’s stability, forcing Russia to take measures to neutralize potential threats from the West. Shogu added that this year Russia’s Western Military District will get more than 2,000 pieces of newly-made and upgraded military equipment.
