(VOVWORLD) - One of the possible complications of a novel coronavirus patient is DIC syndrome, Dmitry Morozov, head of the Health Care Committee of the Russian Duma said on Tuesday.
DIC syndrome causes blood to clot, causing thrombosis in the blood vessels. Mr. Morozov said this finding demands immediate changes to the methods used to treat people infected with the coronavirus. This proposal is set to be sent to Russia’s Ministry of Health.
