(VOVworld) – Top Russian foreign policy advisor Yuri Ushakov said President Vladimir Putin will visit Iran to attend the Gas Exporting Countries Forum on November 23 and will hold talks with Iranian leaders. The visit will take place amid Russia is trying to increase economic ties with Iran after Tehran reached a nuclear agreement with the US and other world powers in July. President Putin’s last visit to Iran was in 2007.
