Sadyr Zhaparov appointed new Kyrgyzstan Prime Minister
(VOVWORLD) - Kyrgyzstan’s parliament named Sadyr Zhaparov Prime Minister in a repeat vote on Wednesday, heading off a political crisis.

The re-vote occurred after President Sooronbay Jeenbekov vetoed the previous result because of proxy voting by some MPs at the October 10 session.
The new Prime Minister had made several unsuccessful attempts to secure the post after the previous vote was nullified.
