(VOVWORLD) - The opening ceremony for the upcoming 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) next Thursday in Hanoi is expected to introduce Vietnam’s beautiful culture and traditions and convey a message “For a stronger Southeast Asia.”

The Organizing Committee said the opening ceremony will feature three parts with the themes 'Friendly Vietnam', 'Strong Southeast Asia', and 'Shining Southeast Asia' to highlightthe solidarity and friendship of ASEAN countries toward the building of the ASEAN Community.
The ceremony will feature five grand scenes, reflecting Vietnamese and Southeast Asian culture. Advanced technologies, including mapping, augmented reality, and extended reality will be applied.
It is expected to be rounded off with an enticing ensemble performance of the Games’ official song “Let’s shine”, which will gather popular Vietnamese musical artists, the Saola mascot, 110 dancers, and 250 athletes.
