The exchange, which took place on the occasion of 15 years of the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic partnership, was also coordinated by the VFF committees and their counterparts in Vietnamese and Chinese localities along the shared border.

Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Vice President and Secretary General of the VFF, said the event helps realize the shared perceptions of the two countries' top leaders on boosting and deepening relations between Vietnam and China.

She said the exchange between the VFF and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee strengthens their collaboration and fosters people-to-people exchanges.
"It upholds the tradition of friendly neighborliness, while advancing substantive and mutually beneficial cooperation in economy, trade, investment, transportation, culture, tourism, and education,” Ha added.

Delegates joined Ha Long City’s National Great Unity Festival, participated in activities highlighting local ethnic traditions, visited a Quang Ninh product showcase, and planted 75 trees to mark 75 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China.
