Seventh phase of Vietnam-Japan Joint Initiative launched

(VOVWORLD) - The seventh phase of the Vietnam-Japan Joint Initiative was launched in Hanoi on Tuesday by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, and the Vietnam-Japan Economic Committee of the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren).

The Minister of Planning and Investment, Nguyen Chi Dung, said the Vietnam-Japan Joint Initiative should focus on new access and deployment methods.

Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Umeda Kunio said the seventh phase of the initiative has covered all aspects needed for the development of the Vietnamese economy.

These aim to improve people’s lives and international competitiveness, Ambassador Kunio said. The seventh phase will continue until the end of next year.
