South Korea and US hold joint special operations drills

(VOVWORLD) -South Korean and US special operations forces are holding a joint drill called “Teak Knife”, Seoul's Joint Chiefs of Staff announced Tuesday.

The exercise, which began in early February and will continue through early March is taking place at Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtaek and Osan Air Base, 65km south of Seoul.

“Teak Knife” is training special operations forces to infiltrate enemy camps. It involves close air support, air control, and hostage rescue missions.
