“Southern Fruit Festival 2024” to be held for three months in HCM City
(VOVWORLD) - The “Southern Fruit Festival 2024” will begin on June 1 at the Suoi Tien Theme Park in Ho Chi Minh City.

Taking place for three months through August 31, the event, also called “Suoi Tien Farm Festival 2024” will promote the many brands of Vietnamese fruit. There will be a fruit market, a competition on safe fruits, a fruit shaping contest, and showcases of dishes made from fruits.
The highlight of the festival will be a series of activities advocating a green, sustainable lifestyle. They include an exhibition of local specialties under the “One Commune, One Product” (OCOP) program, a show of green gift collections, an exhibition of high-tech agriculture models, and a contest on green environment creativity called “Green Unity Campaign 2024”.
The festival will involve the participation of the Friendship Associations between Vietnam and ASEAN, India, Indonesia, and Cambodia. Special art performances and cultural exchanges will form part of the festival.
