State, NA leaders pay pre-Tet visits to Long An, Lang Son
(VOVWORLD) - Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan on Thursday visited and presented gifts to the public security force of the Mekong Delta province of Long An on the occasion of Tet, the Lunar New Year Festival.

Ms. Xuan acknowledged the achievements gained by the unit in ensuring security and order, as well as in the province’s socio-economic development.
She asked the provincial Department of Public Security to build on the achieved results, and continue to use innovation to fulfill their assigned political tasks.
The same day, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai paid a pre-Tet visit to the northern border province of Lang Son.
Extending new year wishes to officers and soldiers at the Chi Lang Border Guard Station and the staff working at the Na Cang Border Gate, Mr. Hai asked them to build a strong border guard force to fulfill the task of defending national sovereignty and to remain combat ready during the Tet holiday.
Vice Chairman Hai gave gifts to 160 policy beneficiaries and poor and prestigious ethnic minority people.
