State President highlights need to nurture talents for national development
(VOVWORLD) - President Nguyen Xuan Phuc has asked authorities and localities to enhance the knowledge of the people and nurture talents for the country.

Mr. Phuc spoke at a meeting in Hanoi on Monday with 33 Vietnamese students who won medals at international Olympiad and science and engineering contests in 2022, and encouraged them to continue doing best learning and practicing necessary skills to become good and responsible citizens.
President Phuc also stressed the need to comprehensively develop students’ capacity, closely combine theory and practice, and further boost international link in education and training.
This year, Vietnamese students brought home a total of 13 gold medals, 12 silver medals, eight bronze ones, and five certificates of merit from international Olympiad and science and engineering contests.
