Steering Committee urges for effort to reopen manufacturing giants after COVID-19 shutdown
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, Head of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, has requested the Ministry of Health to issue specific instructions for large factories in Bac Giang’s industrial parks to resume production after temporary shutdown due to COVID-19.

Presiding over the meeting of the National Steering Committee on Friday, in Hanoi, Deputy Prime Minister Dam requested Bac Giang province to closely manage the workers in ring-fenced areas to minimize the spread of the disease to the community.
Bac Giang, 60 kilometers northeast of Hanoi, is now Vietnam’s biggest COVID-19 hotspot. From April 27 to Friday afternoon, the province recorded 728 infection cases.
