Summer Camp: young expats visit President Ho Chi Minh’s homeland

(VOVWORLD) - Young Vietnamese expatriates on Saturday visited the central province of Nghe An – the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh as part of activities of the Vietnam Summer Camp 2018.

In Vinh city, 120 young overseas Vietnamese from 29 nations and territories paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his statue. They then visited Kim Lien relic site in Nam Dan district. On this occasion, participating youths visited and granted 10 gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, war invalids and Agent Orange/dioxin victims in the locality. Initiated in 2004, the Vietnam Summer Camp has attracted about 2,000 young people from various countries and territories.
