(VOVworld) - Angelito Capindo Rojas, chef of sunken cargo ship Bulk Jupiter, was handed over to representatives of the Philippine Embassy in Vietnam on Tuesday in Vung Tau city, in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau. Angelito Capindo Rojas, who is in stable condition, is the only survivor of the ship so far. The Bahamian ship with 19 members on board sank 150 nautical miles off the Vung Tau coast on January 2 while carrying iron ore from Malaysia to China. Maritime rescue forces from Ba Ria–Vung Tau saved the chef and recovered two bodies - Captain Ronel Acueza Andrin and 24-year-old sailor Jerome Maquilang Dinoy. The two bodies were handed over to the Philippine Embassy’s representatives on Wednesday.
