Syrian President Bashar Al Assad on Sunday strongly denounced Israel for plotting against Syria at a meeting with the Secretary of the Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) who is visiting Damascus. The Syria’s President condemns Israel’s air strike on a Syrian military base on January 30. He said Syria can repel any invasion. The Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Saeed Jalili, came to Syria on Saturday to discuss last week’s air raid by Israel. Jalili re-affirmed Iran’s readiness to defend Syria against foreign attacks.
