In a televised statement, Syria’s army said they will halt combat until Monday, but that they reserve the right to respond if the opposition attacks citizens or government forces. Yesterday, one day before the ceasefire took effect, fierce fighting between government forces and opposition groups occurred. The hot spot was Aleppo in the northern of Syria. The Syrian Observatory of Human Rights (SOHR) said opposition forces entered Aleppo, where 9 citizens were killed, and 15 wounded.
