(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Red Cross Society (VNRC) will organize a live broadcast program on Sunday to raise funds for the poor and Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin victims ahead of the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2018.
The annual campaign aims to mobilize at least 2 million Tet gifts from organizations, businesses, and philanthropists to help needy people.
On December 27, 2017, the Society, in collaboration with the National Humanitarian Portal 1400, launched an SMS campaign to raise money for the campaign, which will run until February 24.
