(VOVworld) - The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and its partner agencies have launched the 5^th national environmental film festival to promote its motto of green Vietnamese environment.

Deputy Minister Bui Cach Tuyen, who leads the festival organizing board, says the festival aims to encourage high quality movies and TV documentaries on environmental issues: “The festival will promote education and awareness raising on civic responsibility in environmental protection. This will be an opportunity for movie makers to contribute to environmental protection.”
Entries will be in five categories including reportage and cartoons to be submitted by this November.
