The Prime Minister has okayed a seafood export development program until 2015 with vision to 2020. Under the plan, Vietnam will continue to focus on developing highly-competitive aquatic product exports in a sustainable manner  and try to maintain its ranking as one of the world’s top ten exporters. By 2020, the seafood industry should have an annual growth rate over 7% and an export value of 10.5 billion USD.
