Thousands of people visit Temple of Literature in Hanoi
(VOVWORLD) - In Hanoi thousands of people visit the Temple of Literature to get a calligraphic word in a hope for good luck for the whole year.

A man from Thanh Tri district said he wants to have the words “Wishes come true” and “luck” for his work and his life.
Other people want to give their children a lucky word of successful examination, good academic results, passing exams, and success.
Getting a lucky word and writing something on the beginning days of a new year are the Vietnamese customs to honor study. Calligrapher Le Manh Nhanh said: “The Spring Calligraphy Festival in the Temple of Literature is beautifully arranged. Calligraphers wear traditional clothes to revive the ancient ambience.”

The Spring Calligraphy Festival, which will last until February 5, also has displays of handicraft products and folk games.
