At a meeting in the Ministry of Public Security headquarters in Hanoi on Friday, Ms. Ngan called on the police force to pay special debts of gratitude: “It’s important to thoroughly and strictly implement Party guidelines and State policies towards martyrs’ relatives and those who render great services to the nation. We need to continue to restore monuments in tribute of martyrs, gather martyrs’ remains, and identify fallen soldiers. Attention should be paid to providing vocational training, jobs, and aid packages to revolutionary contributors and policy beneficiaries, so that their living standards will reach the average level of the population.”
