Trade Union calls for supporting workers amid Covid-19 outbreak
(VOVWORLD) - Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang on Friday thanked enterprises, social organizations, and individuals for supporting workers and trade union members amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
He said the epidemic is affecting production and life of Vietnamese workers and called for further support to help workers get through the epidemic by reducing house rent, deterring payments for electricity and water bills, discounting prices of commodities, and providing mortgage. Khang said these will help workers overcome difficulties caused by the epidemic.
